Customer needs

n  In anchorage construction of long and massive
    bridge, shortening the construction period was
    a big issue
n  Required to place high quality concrete in the 
    areas where the big steels bars were set up
    very thickly
 
Our solution

n  BASF provided Rehobuild SP8 series (PCE type)
    and Rhebuild SP 9 series (BNS type), which can
    improve the workability, flowability and slump
    retention property.  

n  Hence, the placing speed of concrete was
    improved from maximum 1300 cubic meters per
    day to 1900 cubic meters per day. The dense
    and high-quality concrete was also placed in the
    areas where big steel bars were set up thickly.

n  For the large scale baseplate structure like the
    main base part of super suspension bridge.


Our solution

n  Unique 'bagpipe' method of consturction devised
    with Masterflow 870 grout to fill the large gaps
    effectively and provide optimal contact without
    voids.
