Bac Lieu, Vietnam – October 27, 2009 – BASF Vietnam Ltd. today introduced its innovative solutions for the building & construction industry at an event in Bac Lieu. These solutions include waterproofing, industrial flooring, and repair & grout products, all of which are applied in civil & industrial construction segments.
The objectives of this workshop were to create a platform for potential partners and customers to learn more about the high-performance products and solutions offered by BASF for the building & construction industries.

“One good example is the Phu My Bridge across the Saigon River in Ho Chi Minh City, where BASF’s high-strength concrete admixture, Glenium SP8S, as well as WABO expansion joints, are used to ensure a safe and durable construction. When completed at the end of this year, the Phu My Bridge will become the longest bridge in Ho Chi Minh City.”
“This session allows participants to experience and evaluate samples of products and solutions on display at the workshop, and to directly ask the on-site experts questions,” said Kenneth Jul Jensen, responsible for BASF’s Construction Chemicals business in Vietnam.
Participants were from project management units, consultancy and design companies, construction companies, contractors, and construction materials shops in Bac Lieu, Soc Trang and Ca Mau Provinces.
